A STUDY TO EVALUATE THE PHANTOM VIBRATION SYNDROME (PVS) AND RINGXIETY AMONG STUDENTS OF TECHNICAL INSTITUTE

Abstract

Objective: The present study was aimed to find out the prevalence of mobile phone dependency (nomophobia) and its correlation with psychological complications like Phantom vibration syndrome (PVS) and Ringxiety among college students of technical institute.

Material and method: 120 college students of Moradabad educational trust group of Institutions, Moradabad, were randomly selected. The study was divided into three parts i.e. Sample size and selection, Data collection and data interpretation. The students were randomly selected which belongs to different age groups (18-30) and different branches like, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture etc. Students using Smart phone with internet were included in the study. A questionnaire was developed and was pretested on 10 students to study mobile phone dependence (nomophobic) and its psychological relevance/ consequence (PVS and ringxiety) among the study subjects. The individual responses thus obtained were then compiled, processed and analyzed to arrive at the results on various issues to find out the prevalence of mobile phone dependence (nomophobic) and its psychological relevance (PVS/ringxiety).

Results: The individual’s which had experienced false vibration hallucination (FVH) and false ringing hallucination (FRH) every day and when they are alone was considered to be suffered from PVS and Ringxiety respectively and on the basis of that the prevalence of PVS and Ringxiety was found to be 17.64% and 35.71 % respectively.

Conclusion: On the basis of the results of the study the prevalence of PVS and ringxiety was found to be 17.64% and 35.71 % respectively.

Abstract

Mankind uses a variety of cosmetic products to improve overall personality to look young and charming. Herbal cosmetics plays an important role in human being and are widely used because of the devotion that they have less side effects and superior safety as compared with synthetic products. Hair fall, dandruff, lice, spilt ends, grey hair are few problems involved with hair faced by human. Herbal oils are used to treat hair problems like thinning of hair and dry or flaky scalp. Apart from their moisturizing purposes they are also used to promote hair growth, improve blood circulation in the scalp and prevent dandruff. The aim of present work was to develop herbal hair oil from the Indian Gooseberry, Liquorice and Fenugreek, Curry leaves, Onion seeds, Parsley, Bahera and coconut oil. The prepared herbal hair oil was evaluated and reported herewith. All the parameters were found to be good and within the standards.

Abstract

Ebola virus disease has been a severe threat to human beings lately. It is caused by Filoviradea family discovered in 1976 its symptoms include fever and also its affects the lever and kidney etc. To check out the knowledge about this lethal disease among students from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan a survey was being conducted in different departments of the University those departments were from the institute of Social Sciences, life sciences and Computing institute and institute of Bankingand finance. The results of the survey show that overall knowledge about EVD was low among students but from these institutes life sciences has shown better percentage of knowledge from the other two institutes.

Abstract

Syzygium jambos (Myrtaceae), commonly known as pink apple or jambs, is an important medicinal plant used in the indigenous medicine system. It is found in sub-Saharan Africa, in Central America and in Asia. Traditionally, the plant has been used for the treatment of asthma, chronic bronchitis, diarrhea, epilepsy and inflammation. Phytochemical studies of the different parts of the plant revealed the presence of several bioactive phyto-costing agents, such as phenolic compounds, glycosides, triterpenoids and volatile oils. It has also been reported that the plant has significant pharmacological activities such as antimicrobial, antinociceptive, antitumor, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antioxidant and hepatoprotective that are evaluated using various animal models. The objective of the review is to gather all relevant published information related to traditional uses, phytochemicals and the pharmacological potential of Syzygium jambos. The review shows the importance of this plant in ethnomedicine and its enormous potential in modern medicine.

Abstract

Nitrite present in our urine called urinalysis. When bacteria enter in the urine system it change the chemical reaction and convert nitrate into nitrite. Painful urination, urine having badly smell, fatigue and weight loss are most common in it. High rate of white blood cell in urine indicates the infection. Only few persons in the world are allergic to perfumes and specific host chemicals because this infection caused by the effect of our immune system. When these allergens enter in our immune system it influence our T-lymphocytes and start reaction in body which start headache, irritation in eyes or nose, vomiting, dizziness and severe blockage in the respiratory track which cause more dangerous condition for asthma patients. 20% males have nitrite in their urine and have perfume allergy. 7% females have nitrite in their urine and show perfume allergy.

The aspect of the present study was to provide relation nitrites in urine and interest in drinking drain. Presence of nitrites in urine, due to the bacterial infection. Enzymes are responsible for the conversion of nitrates into nitrites. These enzymes are present in bacteria. Chemical test is also available to check the presence of nitrite in the solution. Nitrites contain two oxygen atoms. These are present in the vegetables naturally. Drain is used in daily life commonly. Many people are interested in drinking drain. There is various application of milk. It has promoted affects related to the health.

Abstract

Different activities are being adopted by people when they are traveling. A very popular is music listening. It avoids from being tired. Basically, urine protein can be glomerular, preglomerular and postglomerular. Transient urine protein is benign. Purpose of this study is to find out the reaction between urine protein and music listening during travel. 13% with positive urine protein and 67% with negative urine protein like music listening. 5% with positive urine protein and 15% with negative urine protein don’t like music listening.
