About

Since September 2017, Dr. Mandeep Kumar Gupta has served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Moradabad Educational Trust Group of Institution Faculty of Pharmacy, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

He received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) from IFTM University in Moradabad in 2021 for his research on “Design and synthesis of Coumarin derived small molecules.” He received his B. Pharm. in 2007 from Uttar Pradesh Technical University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and his M. Pharm. in 2010 from Biju Patnaik University of Technology in Rourkela, Odisha.

He has 12.5 years of academic experience. His scientific interests include computational analysis, synthetic chemistry, and the characterization of synthetic and phytochemical molecules utilizing methods such as FT-IR, LC-MS, 1 H-NMR, 13 C-NMR, and UV Spectroscopy, among others. Over the span of his career, he helped over twenty undergraduates and postgraduates in the field of Pharmacy with their research projects.

He is serving as a mentor for B. Pharm students, helping them to develop professionally and academically. He has more than ten research papers that have been published in peer-reviewed indexed national and international journals. He has successfully completed 05 NPTEL courses in various fields of expertise, 12 faculty development programmes, and 36 seminars and conferences at the national and international levels.

In addition to academic activity, he has also been active in administrative roles such as assistant centre-superintendent for BTE annual exams, centre observer for AKTU odd and even semester exams, convenor for AICTE-Student Induction Programme, and coordinator for value education cell.

  1. Appointed as Assistant center superintendent in Annual Examination-July 2022 of Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh Lucknow at exam center 1001- MET Faculty of Pharmacy, Moradabad (UP).
  2. Convener of AICTE-Student Induction Program (AICTE-SIP) at MET Faculty of Pharmacy, Moradabad (UP).
  3. Coordinator of Value education cell at MET Faculty of Pharmacy, Moradabad (UP).
  4. Appointed as an observer of the odd semester examination session 2020-21 and odd & even semester examination 2021-22 of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (UP) at exam center 082-Moradabad Institute of Technology, Moradabad (UP).
