Admissions Procedure
Following courses are available in the Institute:
M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
- B.Pharm degree examination of an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years of B.Pharm). Provided that – a) there shall be reservation of seats for the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration, as the case may be, from time to time.
- For SC/ST candidates the prescribed percentage of marks will be 50% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years of B.Pharm).
- Every student, selected for admission to postgraduate pharmacy course in any of the pharmacy institution in the country should have obtained Registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.
Admission to M.Pharm:
- Through AKTU counselling: Candidate has to appear and qualify the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG). Then, candidate has to participate in AKTU counselling. Aspirants can use the given link: https://cuet.nta.nic.in/
- Through Direct admission: For Direct admission against vacant seats from AKTU counselling, candidate is required to get registered in Admission Cell of the Institute.
- Registrations of eligible candidates will be done with Rs. 11,000/- (Rupees Eleven Thousand only).
- Candidate has to appear and qualify the Common University EntranceInstitute shall offer the admission to candidates against remaining vacant seats after AKTU counselling on merit basis.
B. Pharm: (Bachelor of Pharmacy) Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
B. Pharm. Lateral Entry (2 nd Year) A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
Admission to B.Pharm:
- Through AKTU counselling: Candidate has to appear and qualify the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG). Then, candidate has to participate in AKTU counselling. Aspirants can use the given link: https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/
- Through Direct admission: For Direct admission against vacant seats from AKTU counselling, candidate is required to get registered in Admission Cell of the Institute.
- Registrations of eligible candidates will be done with Rs. 11,000/- (Rupees Eleven Thousand only).
- Institute shall offer the admission to candidates against remaining vacant seats after AKTU counselling on merit basis.
D. Pharm: (Diploma in Pharmacy) Passed in 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics. or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination.
Admission to D.Pharm:
- Through UPJEE(P) counselling: Candidate has to appear and qualify the Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh UPJEE(P). Then, candidate has to participate in UPJEE(P) counselling and has to choose MET Faculty of Pharmacy, Moradabad (College Code-1001). - Through Direct admission: For Direct admission against vacant seats from UPJEE(P) counselling, candidate is required to get registered in Admission Cell of the Institute.
- Registrations of eligible candidates will be done with Rs. 11,000/- (Rupees Eleven Thousand only).
- Institute shall offer the admission to candidates against remaining vacant seats after UPJEE(P) counselling on merit basis.
